Although I joined this site 4 months ago, I haven't actually started to use it until today. This past week, I attended a lecture (via video-link) in Cardiff given by Neale Donald Walsch (author of the Conversations with God series) and I realised that I really need to have a community around me of like-minded souls. I do miss having deep and meaningful, thoughtful, philosophical conversations, and find myself quite introspective lately. I suppose we all go through phases; but I think I would like to be a part of a more spiritual community on a regular basis.

I actually own and operate a few websites myself, that are along the personal development lines. (I'm not sure what the rules are here about posting links, so until I do, I will respectfully leave them out.)

I'm originally from Canada, moved to England in 1998, then Wales in 2002. While I love it here, I am a “nomad” at heart, and suspect I could wind up in mainland Europe one day.

I think, more than anything, the reason I showed up here on this website, is because currently, around me, in my own local circle of friends, I don't really have very deep connections. Great friends, yes, but not ones I can talk to on the “meaning of life” level of things! So I am hoping to make some new connections, preferably from all places across the planet, to share ideas with.
